Bridging Culture’s three activity streams

Stream 1: Student Study Tour and Exchange

A study tour of museum studies and cultural heritage students to Shanghai in early 2027 to pilot a model for ongoing student exchanges between Australian and Chinese universities with research and teaching interests in the cultural heritage collections sector.
 

Stream 2: Professional Development and Research Exchange

A delegation of ten conservation and collection professionals from Australian national cultural institutions to meet with Chinese counterparts in mid-2027 in Beijing to establish collaborative research and practice which address climate change threats to cultural heritage protection and preservation, and emergent digital and related technologies.

Stream 3: Leadership Dialogue 

A high-level Australia–China museum leadership dialogue in Beijing that will bring together senior institutional leaders to explore future collaboration, cultural exchange, and shared challenges in contemporary museum practice.
