Can Art, artists and activists save Australia’s famous multicultural experiment?

Dr Alexandra Dellios recently joined Professor Nikos Papastergiadis, Director of the Research Unit in Public Cultures at the University of Melbourne, and Andrew Jakubowicz, Emeritus Professor of Sociology at the University of Technology Sydney in a keynote session at the Greek Australian Writers Festival to discuss their contributions to the recently published Elgar Companion to the Arts and Global Multiculturalism.

Can Art, artists and activists save Australia’s famous multicultural experiment? explored major milestones and challenges in multiculturalism. It was recorded and broadcast by ABC’s Big Ideas, presented by Natasha Mitchell.
