Songlines Desert Storm: Community controversy and museum exhibitions
Journalists created a media storm around the Ngintaka Exhibition opening at the South Australian Museum in 2014 claiming they were giving ‘voice to the voiceless’ Indigenous community. In fact it was the senior Ngintaka Songline custodians who had co-curated the exhibition whose voices they chose to ignore and silence.
