We are very fortunate to welcome:
Laurajane Smith, Editor of the International Journal of Heritage Studies
Caroline Schuster and Catherine J. Frieman, Editors of Current Anthropology
Drawing on their extensive experience as scholars and journal editors, our guests will share practical insights into academic publishing, including how to develop an article for publication, position a paper for a journal, respond to reviewers, navigate the peer-review process, and think strategically about publishing during and after the PhD.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our HDR students to hear directly from editors of two leading journals in heritage studies and anthropology, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of what editors look for in a strong journal article.
This workshop is open to all CHMS HDR students, whether you are beginning to think about your first publication, currently preparing an article, or already navigating peer review.
